When a new threat connected to the Russian mob puts his family at risk, Joe and his crew embark on a globe-spanning mission that takes them from Pittsburgh to South Africa in search of answers. Set against the stunning backdrop of Cape Town, they’ll uncover shocking secrets, face dangerous new enemies and find themselves in increasingly impossible situations where every decision could have life-or-death consequences.
Average Joe S2 premieres with two episodes on Wednesday, August 19, followed by one new episode every Wednesday through September 30, only on Paramount+.
If ya’ll have been wondering where I’ve been, I’ve been lost in some travels back to the east coast, hired as a Staff Writer for a digital series, and collabing with a really cool brand! Amongst that, I’ve been invited by Paramount to interview the cast of Average Joe for its upcoming second season! Fruits and abundance ya’ll!
I asked Deon Cole about the sad clown theory and his thoughts on comedic performers being closer to darkness than dramatic actors, and I asked Michael Trucco about his devastating cliff hanger to last season’s finale!
But wait! There’s more!
I also interviewed Cynthia Kaye McWilliams and Malcolm Barrett on their characters balancing love in the dark and violent world of crime, and how gender roles have essentially been flipped in their story.
Check it out and let me know what you think!
